Does it cost to use a Mortgage Adviser?

In most cases, no!
When we secure lending for you, the bank pays us for our time and doing the hard work for them.

This comes at no extra charge to you.

In some very rare cases where no new lending is involved or a non-bank lender is used for example, there may be a fee - however this would always be discussed very early on in our discussions. There's no surprises.

Where do I start the process?

First step - get in touch for a free chat as early as possible.

I'll quickly be able to determine how things are looking and what your best next steps will be.

And if we discover you’re not quite ready, I'll be able to help with some guidance to get you in a good position sooner.

It's free, so why not!

Why should I use a Mortgage Adviser?

One of our core jobs is to find the best lending solution and loan structure for your individual situation.

We want to not only help achieve your home ownership dreams, but we want to get you ahead and pay off your loan as early as possible.

We know all the banks criteria and quirks, we know where your application will fit best, the chances of approval at each bank, and the best way of structuring your loan to make the most of your hard-earned money.

As well as this being our passion and goal - we are also legally obligated and strictly regulated to act in your best interests.

We also help to guide you through the whole process, offering tips, advice, and referring you to the right people to help streamline the journey.

There's a lot of jargon and often a lot of misinformation or assumptions. We help navigate through this and get you on the right track.

All of this at no extra charge to you in almost every case!

Do I need 20% deposit?

There are quite often options available for buying with less than 20% deposit.

Some banks will lend up to 90% value, and first home buyers may qualify for a Kainga Ora First Home Loan - requiring as little as 5% deposit.

It's important to not rely on rumours or comments you've heard from others - talk to the experts to truly understand what your situation is and what you may qualify for.
